Rates include full comprehensive insurance and Goods and Services Tax (GST). Cars come with unlimited kilometres, unless otherwise stated. Areas outside the metropolitan region
have 200 kms free per day included. Extra kilometres at $0.275 cents per km. All rates shown are in Australian Dollars. All rentals attract a 2% Government tax. Airport pick-up fee may apply at some airports. Rates throughout this site are subject to change without notice.
Hotel or Business delivery and drop-off is available in all major cities between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday at no extra cost (minimum rental of 3 days applies). Public holidays excepted. This makes it easy to pick up your car after arriving on one of the many cheap
flights to australia, and also allows you to drop it off without hassle before you leave.
Comprehensive insurance is included in the rates, however coverage is not provided for damage incurred on unsealed roads, above the snow line, damage due to immersion, overhead and undercarriage damage. We also have a single vehicle accident excess of $2,750 in the event of an accident involving just the hire vehicle. All accidents must be reported within 24 hours.
In the event of an accident a $2,750 excess will apply to renters aged 21-23 years, a $2,750 excess will apply to renters aged 24 years and over. The excess can be reduced to $330 ONLY for renters over 23 years old by paying an extra $20.90 per day. These charges are collected at the initiation of the rental.
All 4WD and Luxury/Prestige vehicles are subject to an excess of A$5,500 which can be reduced to A$990 by paying an extra $28 per day (TPP). (TPP - Total Protection Pack) which covers windscreens, headlights and tyres.
Child seats are available to suit children ages from 1 to 4 years old, at an additional cost of $7.70 each, per day, up to a maximum payment for 7 days each seat, per rental. Child booster seats for children older than 4 years, are NOT available.
Up to 4 additional drivers are permitted on each Rental Agreement at a charge of $3.30 each extra driver, per day.
Any driver not listed on the rental agreement is not covered by insurance.
Drivers licence must be valid for the period of rental and must be in English. The renter must carry a full driver's licence. Probationary licences are not acceptable nor are photocopies. We accept all international driving licences, when accompanied with a license of origin.
The driver must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible to rent a car.
However there are restrictions for renters under the age of 25. Restrictions for drivers 21-24 years old. The renter must carry a full driver's licence. (not probationary or provisional) The renter must be a credit card holder. 21-24 years of age must pay $13.20 per day age surcharge.
Note: Drivers under the age of 25 may not hire a vehicle larger than a Medium Automatic (ICAR).
One-way rentals are permitted between the Eastern States and South Australia. (Minimum Days apply and Drop-off Fee may apply). Rentals into or out of the Northern Territory and Western Australia are NOT permitted. One Way Rentals between all Northern Territory locations require a minimum of 7 days hire.
Vehicles are permitted to drive on sealed roads only. NO dirt roads at all. Vehicles are NOT allowed to be driven onto Kangaroo Island or Fraser Island.
The vehicle is rented with a full tank of petrol. Similarly, the renter is asked to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel. If the vehicle is not full of fuel upon return, a refuelling charge applies. Fuel is NOT included in the rates quoted on this site.
All customers are supplied with a street directory free of charge. There is a replacement fee if street directories are not returned.
Cancellation within 2 days of your intended rental date is subject to a 100% cancellation fee, which is equal to 1 day's rental of your chosen car. In the event of a No-Show your credit card will be debited to the amount equal to 1 day's rental of your chosen car as a cancellation fee. Please read other Terms & Conditions.
